Many couples are booking one year in advance. Since space is limited, we recommend that you book your cake as soon as your date and reception site have been secured. Can I make an appointment to taste and see your work? In 2007, we had to make a decision how to continue our business with the same level of quality and personal service our clients have enjoyed for over 30 years. With our reputation and following, it has become necessary to implement a $25.00* appointment fee. *If you are reserving the date for your wedding cake, the $25.00 appointment fee will be applied towards the $100.00 deposit required. Simply give us a call to set up an appointment that will last approximately 45 minutes to one hour. You will discuss your ideas one on one with Susan to make the perfect cake for your special day. Our showroom offers the largest display of wedding cakes in the area, and many photo albums of our work are available for viewing. You will also be tasting the cake flavors and fillings that you are most interested in. Please decide which sample cake flavor and filling flavor you would like prior to calling for your appointment. A $100.00 non-refundable deposit reserves your date and is applied to the cost of the cake. Your final balance is due in full, 2 weeks before your wedding. What determines the price of my cake? The price of your cake will depend on the flavors and fillings selected, the shapes and sizes of the tiers, and your cake's construction. Specialty cake stands and silver cake plateaus are available at an additional cost. Is there a charge for delivery? Yes. The delivery and set up cost of your cake is determined by the distance traveled. How can I pay for my cake? We accept Personal Checks, Money Orders or Cash. What do I return after the wedding? A list of parts to be returned will be provided at the time of delivery. The clean cake parts are due back Monday or Tuesday following the wedding unless otherwise specified. Bags and boxes will be provided for specialty stands and plateaus. All items must be returned in the condition in which they were received. Does the number of servings include the top tier? Your top tier is not included in the count or cost of your cake, and is intended to be saved and eaten on your first anniversary. Can every tier be a different flavor? What sounds like a trendy idea does not always work out to be a good idea. Our signature flavor is our Tuxedo Cake and that provides two flavors of cake in each slice, so you won't run short of individual flavors and disappoint your guests. Since each tier includes two layers, you may choose the combination you perfer. What if we would like fresh flowers on our cake? Many couples are choosing to use fresh flowers on their cake. You and your florist are responsible for the placement of these flowers. We will provide you with the tier sizes and spacing, so your florist will be able to determine what is needed. |
